If you come from Tvøroyri or Krambatangi port, where the ferry Smyril arrives to from Tórshavn, take the buss 700 and tell the driver where you want to go to and ask him to tell you when you are in Porkeri. If you come to Suðuroy by car, than you should turn left when you come to the main road, drive towards strait south, you will drive through a little village, which is called ÃravÃk, than you come to a road tunnel and after that you pass by Hov, which also is a little village. After Hov you will drive above Porkeri, don't take the first turn to Porkeri, which is an old narrow road, continue until you reach the more recent and modern road with two lanes, which takes you to the village Porkeri. All of the villages, which are mentioned here are on the east coast of Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. You will see the black wooden churc with the turfed roof soon after driving down to the village, it will be on your right side.
